FAQ
How is “30 minutes or less” measured?
By each recipe's own published total time (prep plus cook, including any short resting time), not an estimate of how fast an experienced cook could go. If a recipe's total time is 30 minutes or under, it is included; if it runs longer, it is not, even if most of that time is hands-off. We also leave out anything that isn't a genuine standalone dinner (technique guides, reheating guides, and meal-prep base recipes) and any recipe whose real time is longer than its published total once a required marinating, chilling, or resting step is factored in.
What is the fastest recipe in this collection?
The quickest dinner here has a total time of 15 minutes. Each card shows its own exact time so you can sort by how much of a rush you're in.
Are any of these recipes cheap as well as fast?
Yes - prices in this collection range from $0.41 to $2.27 a serving, with a median of $1.42. Speed and price are tracked separately, so check each card's own price per plate.
